Belarus bans export of feed grain, some industrial goods

MINSK, 22 March (BelTA) – The Belarusian government has banned the export of grain products used as animal feed and the export of certain types of industrial goods, BelTA informs citing the official Telegram channel of the Council of Ministers.

The first resolution approved the ban on the export of feed grain, including protein raw materials for the feed industry. This move seeks to ensure the stable operation of animal husbandry. The document expands the list stipulated by the Council of Ministers' Resolution No. 125 as of 11 March 2022.

The second resolution banned the export of certain types of industrial goods. It was passed to protect the economic interests of the state. The list features 254 types of products.

The documents were signed by Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko. Both resolutions come into force after official publication and will be in effect for six months.
