The children's rehabilitation and health-improving center "Ptich"

The children's rehabilitation and health-improving center "Ptich" is located on a hilly hill surrounded by a mixed forest, 4 km north of the settlement. Kopatkevichi, Petrikovsky district, Gomel region, on the right Bank of the Ptich river, where the beach of the center is equipped.

Good climatic conditions of the territory are used in the treatment of vacationers - clean air of the forest against the background of the absence of industrial enterprises in the area, the presence of a water factor - one of the cleanest rivers in Belarus with a landscape in the form of coastal meadows, meadows and an equipped beach.

The center has modern buildings with warm passages and new engineering systems and structures. Vacationers will find accommodation in comfortable rooms with all the conveniences of different categories: 2-bed and 4-bed two-room block type, 2-bed 2-room junior suite.

Vacationers are offered a wide range of medical procedures: electrotherapy, phototherapy, magnetotherapy, aromatherapy, herbal medicine, inhalation. A wide range of procedures is offered by the hydropathic facility (therapeutic shower, Charcot's shower, underwater massage shower, pearl baths). The services of specialist doctors are also offered: a pediatrician, a dentist, and a physiotherapy room.

Six meals a day are organized in the center. The diet includes foods that have radioprotective properties that contribute to the rapid elimination of harmful substances from the body and are enriched with mineral salts and vitamins in order to compensate for their deficiency in the child's body. Children receive daily mineral water, natural juices, fresh fruits and fiber-rich vegetable dishes.

For the organization of leisure for children and adolescents in the Children's Rehabilitation and Health Center "Ptich" there is: an assembly hall equipped for holding mass events with modern technology; video salon for viewing educational, thematic and entertaining videos; summer stage and dance hall, where interesting events, discos are held; a library with a wide selection of fiction, program and methodological, educational literature, play rooms for hobby classes, where there are games and toys for children of different ages; rooms for circle work, where children can show their creativity in the manufacture of crafts from straw, paper, dough, natural material.

The center hosts theme nights, discos, sports competitions and contests under the guidance of a qualified cultural organizer and musical director. In addition, tourist trips to the city of Turov, excursions to the house-museum of Ded Talash, hiking trips along the Ptich River with the organization of fishing with a real fishing fish soup are organized.
