Despite the unprecedented sanctions on the economies of Belarus and Russia we have managed to preserve its development potential, Belarusian Finance Minister Yuri Seliverstov said as he opened the international conference on experience exchange in public finance management in Gomel, BelTA learned.
Recent years have become unprecedented in terms of sanctions pressure on the Belarusian economy, as well as on the Russian economy, Yuri Seliverstov pointed out. “These restrictions extended to the budget sector to the full extent. But even in these conditions, we manage to preserve the potential of economic development, achieve our goals, and develop dynamically,” he emphasized.
