MINSK, 1 November (BelTA) – Belarus has set up constituencies for the elections to the local councils of deputies of the twenty-ninth convocation, BelTA learned from the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus.

Local representative, executive and administrative bodies made decisions on 12,514 constituencies.

The single voting day in Belarus will be held on 25 February 2024 to elect deputies of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the eighth convocation and local councils of deputies of the twenty-ninth convocation. It will be followed by the elections of members of the Council of the Republic, delegates to the Belarusian People's Congress from civil society organizations and local councils of deputies.
