05.04.2024

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed decree No.132 on improving approaches to the selection, training, and upbringing of young Belarusians in cadet schools, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.

The document provides for amending the regulation on cadet schools. In particular, the duration of field training camps for students of the 8th form and the 10th form has been extended from 5 days (30 hours) to 10-12 days (60-72 hours). Health certificates, which are issued by a state healthcare organization, will now have to include information about the absence of contraindications to education in cadet schools.

The specific timeframe for organizing the field training camps and the list of contraindications to education in cadet schools will be determined by the Education Ministry and the Healthcare Ministry.

The decree will contribute to the development of military and patriotic education of cadets and to the popularization of education in the interests of national security bodies.
